A luxury lodge and hotel group based in Bryanston, Johannesburg requires an experienced Sales Executive to secure new business and maintain existing client relationships.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within the hospitality industry, preferably with a hotel group. The candidate should also have established contacts and relationships with travel agents, corporates, PCOs, and production houses.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, be target-driven, and confidently represent the company in a professional manner.
Scope and General PurposeThe Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, securing new clients and contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Key areas of responsibility include:
New business development
Client relationship management
Database management
Business presentations
Workshops
Sales reports
Market and client follow-ups
Matric is essential.
Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the hospitality industry.
Proven sales track record.
Existing relationships with travel agents, corporates, PCOs, and production houses would be advantageous.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills.
Ability to conduct professional presentations and meetings with confidence.
Valid South African ID.
Valid driver’s licence would be advantageous.
Must be willing to travel.
Must be available to attend after-hours functions when required.
Dynamic self-starter with strong negotiation skills.
Professional personality suited to a sales and client-facing role.
Proficient in English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team player with a high level of dedication.
