A luxury lodge and hotel group requires an experienced Sales Executive to secure new business and maintain existing client relationships.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within the hospitality industry, preferably with a hotel group. The candidate should also have established contacts and relationships with travel agents, corporates, PCOs, and production houses.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, be target-driven, and confidently represent the company in a professional manner.
Scope and General PurposeThe purpose of this role is to promote the image and services of the company to ensure maximum business growth through gaining new clients and securing new contracts.
The Sales Executive will be required to manage all aspects of sales, including:
Sourcing and securing new business
Client relationship management
Database management
Business presentations
Workshops
Sales reporting
Maintaining and growing existing client relationships
Matric is essential.
Tertiary education in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the hospitality industry.
Proven sales track record.
Existing contacts and relationships with travel agents, corporates, PCOs, and production houses would be advantageous.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills.
Ability to conduct presentations and meetings professionally and with confidence.
Valid South African ID.
Valid driver’s licence.
Willingness to travel.
Must be available to attend after-hours functions when required.
Dynamic self-starter with excellent negotiation skills.

Proficient in English.
