Assistant Lodge Manager Couple

Hospitality The Assistant Lodge Manager Couple, will support the Lodge Manager in the day-to-day operation of the lodge, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional stay while maintaining the highest standards across all departments.

Responsibilities will include

• Delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.
• Leading and motivating lodge staff through a hands-on management style.
• Overseeing Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations.
• Assisting with lodge administration, reporting and operational planning.
• Maintaining the highest standards of presentation and service throughout the lodge.
• Handling guest requests and resolving challenges professionally.
• Supporting and developing team members through coaching and leadership.
• Building lasting relationships with guests, colleagues and travel partners.

• Lodge Operations

• Food & Beverage
• Housekeeping
• Staff Management
• Administration and Reporting
• The second partner should have experience in one or more of the following:
• Safari Guiding (FGASA qualification advantageous)
• Hospitality Operations
• Food & Beverage
• Maintenance
• Guest Activities
• General Lodge Management

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in a luxury lodge or five-star hospitality environment
• A genuine passion for guest service and creating unforgettable experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer literacy and experience with hospitality management systems.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Rooms Division Experience
• Practical with some experience in maintenance
• Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude.
• A willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment.
