Senior/Mid Career | Permanent | KwaZulu NatalPurpose of Job:The management of the System Support & Development (IS) and Information Technology (IT) department. Providing strategic direction to the design,creation, integration, and implementation of software within the company.Ensuring alignment to business processes for a smooth working environment. Achieving cost reduction through efficient systems architecture.
Key Performance Areas:
  • Financial Control:Budgeting and accounting for BAPS services locally and globally.
  • Service Management:Delivering & supporting BAPS services meeting business needs.
  • Project Management:Collaborating with external developers for solutions, effective project planning & execution.
  • Business Analyst:Identifying process improvements, translating requirements, and facilitating stakeholder communication.
  • Development:Defining, designing, delivering reports, integrating systems, and resolving defects.
  • Vendor Management:Working with external support for business-compatible support, managing vendor relationships.
  • Training:Training support personnel on new systems for required business support.
  • Team Leadership:Leading a motivated and competent team to meet business requirements.
Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Project Management & Azure Certification
  • Valid Code 08/EB driver’s license
  • 5+ years in similar roles, SQL development, systems architecture, business analysis, project management
  • Expertise in MS SQL, PowerBI, Azure data platforms management, source control, and Microsoft Excel & Word
Skills:Azure, Systems Support & Development, Design creation and implementation of software, System process and technology, Financial Control
