Job Title: Electrical Foreman (Manufacturing)Reporting to: Engineering ManagerSeniority Level: Mid Career (Above 6 yrs exp)Location: KZN MidlandsDuties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs and planned maintenance to all electrical equipment on site.
- Do electrical installation on new equipment on site.
- Modify and improve existing equipment upon sanction approval to optimize capacity.
- Ensure legal compliance of all electrical installations and equipment.
- Manage a team of electricians, assistants, and apprentices.
- Diagnose and repair faulty machinery.
- Distribute equipment and material to allow the team to perform assigned activities.
- Ensure team adheres to safety standards.
- Coordinate and check work done by the team, reporting deviations to the manager.
- Plan and coordinate daily work routines of electricians, ensuring effective shift cover.
- Manage overtime effectively and within budget.
- Order and control critical spare parts
