Large FMCG manufacturing company requires a dynamic marketing manager to support and lead the marketing team in building brand and strategy.Will be based in Pietermaritzburg but needs to be able to travel to Cape Town when required.
 Accountabilities
  • Translate strategy into clear marketing plans and timelines.
  • Own execution of campaigns, digital, events, and design.
  • Lead and manage the Marketing team (4 direct reports).
  • Ensure efficient budget and resource management.
  • Partner with Sales, Trade Marketing, and NPD for seamless delivery.
Key Activities
  • Build market and customer insight through Business Intelligence and Sales collaboration.
  • Oversee digital, social, and communications channels.
  • Manage agency relationships.
  • Guide events and design teams to deliver to plan and brand standard.
  • Monitor trends and competitor activity, feeding insights to the Head of Marketing.
Stakeholders
  • Reports to: Head of Marketing
  • Internal: Sales, Trade Marketing, NPD, Design, Events
  • External: Creative, Media, Social, and eCommerce agencies
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing Management
  • Minimum 5 years FMCG marketing management experience
  • Proven track record in executional excellence and team leadership
