A growing company in the medical rehabilitation and sports therapy industry is looking for a Sales Specialist to join their team. This role involves selling specialised rehabilitation and therapy products to healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists, biokineticists, chiropractors, and rehabilitation clinics.

Braces and supports
Kinesiology tape and sports strapping
Resistance bands and rehab exercise tools
Electrotherapy devices
Recovery tools like foam rollers and massage guns
Education & Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
Additional studies in anatomy, physiology, sports science, or health sciences will be advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Valid driver’s licence
Own reliable vehicle
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing New Business
Identify and approach new clinics, practices, and healthcare professionals who could benefit from the company’s products.
Managing and Growing Existing Customers
Build strong relationships with physiotherapists, chiropractors, biokineticists, and rehabilitation professionals.
Product Demonstrations & Training
Conduct in-clinic demonstrations to show how products work and how they support injury recovery and rehabilitation.
Consultative Sales Approach
Use your knowledge of anatomy, injury mechanisms, rehabilitation, and recovery to recommend the most suitable products.
Sales Administration & Reporting
Prepare quotes for customers and follow up to close sales.
Track performance against sales targets and customer activity goals.
Territory & Visit Planning
Plan weekly and monthly sales routes to visit clinics efficiently.
Maintain a consistent number of customer visits each day.
Market Awareness
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs.
Provide feedback to management about product performance and market opportunities.
Success in this role will be measured by:
Achieving monthly sales targets (minimum 90% target achievement expected).
Maintaining consistent daily customer visits.
Generating new leads and converting them into active customers.
Submitting accurate sales reports on time.
Maintaining a well-planned appointment schedule.
To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of the human body, including anatomy, injuries, rehabilitation, and recovery.
Sales Experience
Previous experience in sales, within medical, healthcare, rehabilitation, sports, or wellness products.
Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales.
Experience with cold calling and developing new business.
