Lodge Anchor / Guest Relations Officer
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lodge environment.
Computer literate.
Competent with office administration and general admin duties.
Able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
Sound financial understanding.
Good understanding of all lodge departments.
Strong guest relations and hosting skills.
Able to work flexible hours, including early departures and late arrivals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Relations and Hosting
Host guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
Conduct daily courtesy calls with guests.
Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs.
Assist with early departures and late arrivals.
Ensure guests receive warm, professional, and attentive service.
Handle guest queries and requests in a professional manner.
Lodge Operations
Assist with room checks.
Assist with stock control.
Support general lodge operations where required.
Work closely with different lodge departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Office Administration
Assist with general office administration.
Assist with front office duties when required.
Manage day sheets when lodge anchors are off duty or on annual leave.
Assist with gate access manifests.
Maintain guest information accurately.
Assist with guest invoicing.
Secondary Duties
When lodge anchors are on off days or annual leave, assist with:
Front office operations.
Day sheets.
Gate access manifests.
Guest information.
Guest invoicing.
Waiter coordination.
Venue preparation.
Service support.
