We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House (FOH) Manager to join a beautiful wine farm in Hermanus. If you love working with people, have a passion for food and wine, and enjoy leading a team in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What we’re looking for:
• 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A hands-on approach with great attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Experience with restaurant systems (POS, reservations, etc.)
• A genuine passion for food, wine, and customer service
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
What you’ll be doing:
• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the restaurant and tasting room
• Making sure every guest has an exceptional experience from start to finish
• Managing, training, and motivating the front-of-house team
• Handling bookings, hosting guests, and promoting wine sales and pairings
• Assisting with stock control, budgets, and basic financial reporting
• Ensuring health, safety, and cleanliness standards are always met
• Coordinating events and functions on the farm
• Continuously improving service and team performance
