A family-owned export trading business, supplying FMCG products, fresh produce, wines, and building materials to 45 countries worldwide are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team.
What You'll Do:
1. Grow and develop international markets through regular customer visits (international travel approximately every 6 weeks)
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships
3. Identify new business opportunities and negotiate profitable deals
4. Achieve agreed sales and profit targets
5. Ensure compliance with export market regulations
6. Work within logistics and financial controls
What We're Looking For:
A. Proven experience in FMCG sales (export sales experience is advantageous)
B. Strong knowledge of export trading and logistics
C. Successful track record in business development and closing sales
D. Understanding of Incoterms
E. Commercial acumen with strong numerical skills
F. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to think creatively
G. A relationship builder who can work independently and as part of a team
