Position: Senior IT AdministratorResponsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and support the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems.
- Monitor network to ensure high availability and optimal performance for all system users.
- Oversee and lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software systems.
- Manage and secure user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and anti-spam systems.
- Ensure the integrity and security of the company's data through robust backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Coordinate with external vendors and support technicians to resolve critical infrastructure issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive operational documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Train and mentor junior IT staff on new technologies and provide advanced support for IT-related issues.
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of strategic technology projects within the organization.
- Stay ahead of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT administration.
- Travel to remote sites to set up, test, and maintain IT infrastructure as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar senior role.
- Extensive knowledge of networking, including advanced LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and VPN.
- Code 8 driver's license required, with a willingness to travel to remote sites.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Cisco Certified Network Professional) are highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing and mentoring junior IT staff.
