- Supervision: Leads a team of Electricians, overseeing daily maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identifies complex electrical faults, guiding the team to resolve issues efficiently.
- Planning & Coordination: Creates daily work schedules, assigns tasks, and coordinates with project managers.
- Safety Compliance: Ensures strict adherence to health and safety regulations and conducts daily checks.
- Quality Assurance: Tests and certifies installations to ensure they meet standards.
- Resource Management: Monitors the use of materials, orders spares, and manages equipment.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified artisan (electrician), with prior leadership experience.
- Certification: Matric, Valid Electrical Trade Certificate.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read drawings, interpret plans, and handle troubleshooting.
- Leadership: Strong communication skills and the ability to train subordinates
- Qualifications: Trade Test - Electrician.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Mentor and train junior electricians, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
- Valid electrical certifications and licenses.
