0 Applications About the Company – A Machine Tools based company that is a family-owned company specializing in metalworking machinery, tooling, and accessories since 1958.
This position is primarily field based, with the successful candidate spending most of their time visiting existing and prospective customers, building relationships, and generating enquiries and sales for our range of machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Visit customers and prospective clients to introduce and promote our machinery.
Generate sales enquiries and develop new business opportunities.
Work with the administration team to prepare quotations for customers and ensure all quotations are checked and confirmed before being sent.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent service.
Travel to outlying areas when required; this may occasionally involve week-long business trips to visit customers in more distant regions.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous sales experience and a strong ability to build client relationships.
Possesses a friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.
Is self-motivated and comfortable working on the road.
Is eager to learn about our machinery and products (technical training will be provided).
Remuneration & Benefits
Basic Salary: R12,000 – R20,000 per month (depending on experience)
Commission: 10% of profit on sales generated
Commission will form the primary earning potential, and once established in the role, sales representatives can earn between R15,000 and R70,000 per month in commission.
