JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or Consumer Science.
Knowledge in Laboratory Management Systems will be advantageous.
Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Intermediate level on MS Excel and Word.
Must have experience in implementing, maintaining and improving Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
Possible experience would include Food Technologist, QC/QA Manager, Lab Manager. Experience at management level is required.
Incumbent would need to have an attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
Oversee the company’s full quality and food safety portfolio. Full responsibility for planning, implementing and monitoring of all necessary systems, policies and procedures.
