JUNIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

JUNIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERKZN MIDLANDSThe Junior Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing , improving and optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce productionlead times, improve operational efficiency, increase productivity and eliminate waste across production operation.The role will support continuous improvement initiative through optimization , and implementation of Lean manufacturing principles.

Process Improvement and OptimisationContinuous ImprovementDrive Lean Manufacturing , Kaizen and continuous improvement initiativesFacilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activitiesSupport implementation and sustainability of process improvements.Promote operational excellence and standardization across production areas.

Monitor and analyse production KPIs including efficiency, downtime , throughput, scrap and lead timesDevelop and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports.Provide data-driven recommendations to management for operational improvements.Standardisations &Operational ControlDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work instructions.Ensure process consistency and adherence to operational standards.Support implementation of best manufacturing practices.Project ManagementCoordinate improvement initiatives with production , maintenance ,quality and planning departments.Track projects progress and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.Health, Safety complianceEnsure all improvement activities comply with company safety standards and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree /BTech/ National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related fields.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or production environment.
