FITTER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Trade tested Fitter.

Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet).

3yrs+ previous working experience in a similar position.

Competent understanding of safety rules in the manufacturing industry.

Welding experience.

Experience on motors and gearboxes.

Experience with conveyor maintenance.

Experience with elevators.

Coordinate staff work load.

Operate, implement and maintain mechanical equipment.

Maintaining and implementing of quality and safety standards.

General maintenance administration.

Position involves mechanical maintenance; install, service and repair engineering machinery and equipment. Possibly work on mechanical or electronical systems. Act as a supportive function to the Boilermaker / Welder and the Plant Manager.
