Key Performance AreasManage factory engineering projects, contractors and site workManage the factory maintenance and construction programs to ensure optimal up time of the plant.Manage the factory assets and assist with budgetsManage the plant complex, utilities and infrastructure.Assist with achieving optimal efficiency, productivity and quality of plant and processesEnsure legal compliance with the OSH Act and all relevant regulationsRequirementsMechanical or Electrical Graduate Engineer (BEng/BSc Eng)Passed the examination on the OSH Act and the regulations made thereunder held by the Commission of Examiners, or;Certificated Engineer holding the Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) factories.Above average computer skills.ExperiencePractical experience in the operation and maintenance of a plant with a power generation capacity greater than 3000kW5 years’ practical experience in an industrial plant, including knowledge of boiler operations.3 years’ experience in leading a skilled maintenance team.3 years’ experience with CAD.
