Housekeeping Manager / Rooms Division Supervisor
Reporting To: Assistant Lodge Manager
The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Lodge Manager and will be responsible for the effective management of the Housekeeping Division, laundry operations, stock control, staff supervision, and maintaining high lodge standards.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping and Rooms Division
Take full responsibility for the daily running of the Housekeeping Division.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail in all guest rooms.
Ensure guest rooms are checked daily.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all guest areas.
Ensure maintenance issues are recorded and reported immediately.
Oversee pest control requirements and related follow-ups.
Laundry Operations
Supervise and control the laundry operation according to lodge procedures.
Ensure guest laundry is collected, cleaned, and returned efficiently.
Oversee daily lodge laundry and staff laundry.
Maintain laundry standards, stock usage, and turnaround times.
Housekeeping Budget, Purchasing and Stock Control
Control housekeeping expenditure.
Manage purchasing and price control.
Monitor stock control systems, including:
Linen
Amenities
Cleaning materials
Minibar stock
Conduct monthly stocktakes.
Manage price updates, goods received vouchers, and budget control.
Team Management
Lead and manage the Housekeeping team.
Inspire, develop, and motivate staff.
Ensure correct staff placement within the department.
Maintain a strong guest-focused service culture.
Address guest feedback constructively and professionally.
Ensure staff training and development.
Manage staff performance, discipline, and leave cycles.
Additional Duties
Assist Front of House during arrivals, departures, and site inspections.
Host guests when required.
Maintain good relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and the broader lodge community.
Support the Assistant Lodge Manager with operational requirements when needed.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2–3 years’ Housekeeping Management experience in a 5-star lodge or boutique hospitality environment.
Budgeting and stock control experience.
Rooms Division or Front of House experience will be advantageous.
Hospitality or service training experience will be advantageous.
