Construction Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team in Durban. The Construction Administrator will be responsible for supporting the project management team in overseeing the administrative tasks related to construction projects in the Durban area.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related correspondence- Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and tracking project costs- Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services- Assist in the preparation and execution of project schedules- Support the project management team in resolving any project-related issues or disputes- Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for project stakeholders- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and health and safety standardsQualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction administration or a related field- Knowledge of construction project management processes and procedures- Strong organizational and time management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Knowledge of construction regulations and health and safety standards
