This half-day opportunity is for 4 mornings per week (probably from 9.00am to 1.00pm). The role cannot be viewed as a stop-gap and must be viewed as a relatively long-term opportunity. It would be ideal for a mom /housewife who has previously had at least 5 years similar hands-on, processing bookkeeping experience as described below, and who is happy to work at this level. In addition, would need good electronic accounting packages experience, and Sage Cloud Acconting would be a real win.
Overview -Assist the Financial Manager of this 30-years established NGO in the performance of his duties and responsibilities. The role will be primarily focused on the day-to-day operational side of the financial management of the organisation. Responsibilities include tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll support, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial records, and preparing basic financial reports.
